Subject

A clip of Alan Palmer, manager of The Marquis Wellington

Description

Transcript:
"It is very varied. It’s weird, coming from Southampton and Portsmouth, we’re down by the sea. When I first came here I was like ‘Oh! There’s loads of different people here, this is crazy!’ And yeah, I think it’s good. Life get’s a bit boring when you’re just…you know. Down in Portsmouth, I wouldn’t say it was a racist city but I’d say it was an intolerant city. A lot of people don’t go there for the reason that there’s quite a lot of violence down there, a lot of crime. But Leicester doesn’t seem to be like that, that much. It seems to be just a mix."
